These Terms apply to any interaction you have with Course Cave. This includes accessing and using our information, goods, and services (“Services”) via our website, mobile applications, or other platforms.

Please read these Terms carefully — they affect your legal rights and obligations.

These Terms

  1. The agreement set out in these terms of use (“Terms”) is between you, the user (“You”), and Course Cave (“We”, “Us” or “Our”).
  2. These Terms apply whenever you use a website, application, or other platform owned or operated by us to access our Services. By continuing to use the Services, you accept these Terms and agree to be legally bound by them.
  3. We may update these Terms occasionally. Any changes will be posted on our website. If you continue to use our Services after these changes, you accept the updated Terms.
  4. These Terms apply only to the Services we provide, such as access to online courses (“Courses”) listed on our website. These Courses are provided by independent teachers, tutors, colleges, or other organisations (“Teachers”).
  5. While we host the Courses on the Course Cave platform, we are not responsible for the Course content or suitability. That responsibility lies with the individual Course Teacher.
  6. Some Courses may include additional terms, which will be shown on their individual course pages.

Registration

  1. You may browse our website without registering, but to purchase a Course, you must create an account.
  2. During registration, you must provide your full name and a valid email address. This information will be managed according to our Privacy Policy.
  3. You must create a secure password and keep it confidential. If someone else uses your account due to your disclosure of your password, you will be responsible for their actions.
  4. You must provide a valid email address so we can send you Course confirmations and important updates. We are not responsible if you fail to provide accurate contact information.
  5. You may opt in to receive promotional emails from us or our affiliates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  6. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.

Purchases and Payment

  1. You may purchase Courses through our Services. Payment must be authorised at the time of order.
  2. Your place in a Course is not confirmed until payment is complete and you receive a confirmation email.
  3. Payments can be made using PayPal, debit or credit card.
  4. After payment, we will email you access details and may share your contact details with the relevant Teacher if necessary.
  5. Once your purchase is confirmed, a binding agreement for the Course is created under the Teacher’s terms as shown on the course listing.
  6. If we accept payment but later cannot deliver the Course, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
  7. All prices listed include VAT unless stated otherwise.

Your Right to Cancel

  1. You may cancel your order within 14 days of confirmation. However, a valid reason is required for cancellation.
  2. To cancel, please email support@coursecave.co.uk or call +44 203 289 8484 with your order details.

Course Materials and Content

  1. Course materials will be available as described in the course outline. You may access them during the course duration, but access may be removed after course completion.
  2. We aim to host high-quality Courses but do not guarantee satisfaction. Concerns should be directed to the Course Teacher.
  3. We strive to maintain access to your materials but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
  4. We are not responsible for lost or deleted materials, though we may assist in recovery at our discretion.

Termination and Suspension

  1. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
  2. If your account is suspended or terminated, you may not access our Services or create another account.

User-Generated Content

Users may be allowed to post content (“Content”) using our Services.

You confirm that:

  • You are the author or have rights to the Content;
  • You hold all necessary intellectual property rights.

You agree not to post content that is:

  • Offensive, defamatory, misleading, fraudulent or illegal;
  • Promoting hate, violence, pornography or harassment;
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights;
  • Spam or commercial solicitation;
  • Malicious or containing viruses or scripts;
  • Impersonating others or encouraging criminal behavior.

We may remove content at any time for any reason.

Notice and Take-Down

  1. We will remove infringing or defamatory content when properly notified.
  2. If you believe any content on our site violates your rights, email info@coursecave.co.uk with:
    • Your full name and contact info;
    • The exact URL of the offending content;
    • A description of the content and why it’s unlawful;
    • A statement that you’re authorized to act;
    • A signed declaration of truth.
  3. False or misleading statements may be used in legal proceedings.

Viruses, Hacking, and Security

  1. Do not upload or distribute malicious software or viruses.
  2. Do not attempt unauthorized access to our systems or disrupt our Services.
  3. Breaches may constitute criminal offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and will be reported to authorities.
  4. We are not responsible for damage caused by malicious software due to use of our Services.

Availability and Liability

  1. We are not liable for business loss, profit loss, or reputational damage resulting from use of our Services.
  2. We are not responsible for actions or content of any Teacher.
  3. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us.
  4. Claims must be made within 12 months of purchase.
  5. These exclusions do not apply to death or injury caused by our negligence or fraud.
  6. These limitations are reasonable given our role as a course distributor.
  7. While we aim to provide uninterrupted access, we cannot guarantee the Services will be error-free.
  8. Temporary service interruptions for maintenance may occur and do not constitute a breach of these Terms.

Intellectual Property

  1. All content, branding, and formats are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
  2. Course content is for personal use only and must not be copied, sold, or shared.
  3. You may not reproduce or extract large portions of our website or materials without written permission.

International Use

  1. We do not guarantee that our Services are suitable or lawful outside the UK. Use from other locations is at your own risk.
